May 4th, the Hollywood Walk of Fame organized a ceremony to commemorate Star Wars Day, which is celebrated on this date because it sounds like the phrase "May The Force Be With You". At the ceremony, a posthumous star was given to the late actress Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia, the twin sister of Jedi Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise. Instead of her mother, Fisher's daughter Billie Lourd paid tribute to her. Actor Mark Hamill, who played Luke Skywalker, gave a speech congratulating Fisher on the honor, along with the iconic characters C-3PO and R2-D2.
