THE EDITION was founded by legendary hotel brand creator Lan Schrager in partnership with Marriott International. The world-class hotel chain, the top brand of the Marriott Group, The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon, just launched in 2020. (During COVID time) We love the warm decoration with wooden floors, wooden walls and the addition of green plants. Makes you feel relaxed and ready for a real vacation.

The hotel occupies floors 31–36 of the central Tokyo skyscraper “Tokyo World Gate” in the Kamiyachō business district, conveniently located next to several subway lines. making it possible to travel to other popular places In the vicinity such as Roppongi or Ginza or far away very easily.

The lobby here is on the 31st floor. You have to take the elevator up from the first floor. When the elevator opens, you'll find a chair set up with art and a small photograph. Lined along the corridor leading to the lobby and check-in point. The lobby here is very beautiful. It feels shady because they are decorated with over 500 trees divided into different corners. Relax and look uncomfortable.


We stayed in a DELUXE king bed room with city view, size 42 sqm. This room was designed by one of my favorite architects in Japan, Mr. Kengo Kuma. The room is very simple. There are clean lines and sharp edges along organic colours, such as white oak floors with beige and white furnishings.

The hotel embraces the concept of Design, Development, and Destination, and we stumbled upon this hidden gem while browsing through Expedia's hotel options. Not only is it visually stunning, trendy, and conveniently located, but the best part is the exceptional quality offered at an affordable price. The decoration theme predominantly revolves around green elements, creating a refreshing ambiance. The amenities provided are pleasantly fragrant, adding an extra touch of luxury.

On the second floor, there is a charming café, serving coffee and pastries, which is also open to non-hotel guests. It provides a comfortable space to relax, work, or simply unwind. In the evening, the café transforms into a vibrant bar with a DJ spinning music, setting the perfect atmosphere for a night out. The first floor is home to the restaurant "nôl," which prides itself on selecting seasonal ingredients to create delectable dishes.


Conveniently situated near a train station, the hotel offers easy access to various attractions in the area. Surrounding the hotel, you'll find an array of shops, restaurants, and trendy cafes, making it an ideal location for exploring and immersing oneself in the local scene.

The old warehouse has been transformed into "Little Darling Coffee Roasters," a café that exudes an industrial charm. With a blend of indoor and outdoor seating, patrons can enjoy their beverages amidst a stylish ambiance. The café boasts an array of coffee beans sourced from various countries, allowing customers to choose their preferred flavors.


Additionally, an assortment of snacks is available, and visitors can even purchase souvenirs like t-shirts, bags, and books.

At "SOLSO PARK," visitors can immerse themselves in a vibrant green paradise. This shop specializes in over a hundred different types of plants, accompanied by adorable gardening equipment with charming designs. The entire store is teeming with lush foliage, offering an inviting and serene environment.


For floral enthusiasts, "All Good Flower" is a must-visit destination. This shop showcases a diverse selection of flowers, carefully curated to align with the seasons. Fresh blooms and dried arrangements adorn the shelves, alongside an assortment of pots, vases, and an abundance of cute souvenirs to take home.
